Innovation Café: Maximize your success with the right price

When launching new products and services, the question of price always arises. Prices have a strong and direct impact on sales, profits, and customer satisfaction. Many startups lack the necessary specialized knowledge in price management. They focus heavily on setting the price point ("Can I sell my product for €120 or €140?"). In doing so, they overlook the fact that a whole range of pricing tools can be used to maximize profits.

In the presentation, the pricing expert Christian Wirth the basics and latest trends in pricing management. He will show you how to attract new customers to your startup with clever pricing and increase your customers' price acceptance.

About the speaker

Christian Wirth is a pricing and marketing expert (www.optimalprice.chHe advises companies on setting and optimizing their prices. He has extensive experience in the telecommunications, financial services, and automotive industries. For 20 years, he has held leading positions at companies such as Mercedes-Benz AG, MCC smart GmbH, Swisscom AG, and Swiss Bankers Prepaid Services AG. He teaches price management at the Bern University of Applied Sciences and is heavily involved in the startup community.

As always, the Innovation Café will also offer the opportunity to chat with other participants in a friendly atmosphere over a glass of beer, juice, or water – so interesting content and a pleasant atmosphere are guaranteed.

About the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE)

The SCE is the Entrepreneurship Center of the Munich University of Applied Sciences and offers training and continuing education programs in the field of entrepreneurship, researches and promotes innovation processes and the development of entrepreneurial personalities.
