The German Business Angels Day is the central meeting point of the German business angels scene for angel investors, startups, multipliers and all players in early-stage financing.
Organized by BAND since 2001, the flagship event has developed into Europe's largest congress of the Business Angels Ecosystem and combines two days of networking, trade fair, exhibition, pitches, qualification and a celebratory event in one.
This year the German Business Angels Day will take place on December 11th and 12th, 2016 in Nuremberg.

Feed your brain:
The BANDakademie Day kicks off on Sunday, December 11th, at the Georg Simon Ohm University of Applied Sciences in Nuremberg. In eight hands-on workshops, current trends and developments in early-stage financing, such as pooling, impact investing, and crowdfunding, as well as expertise in drafting investment agreements and possible exit paths, will be shared with participants for practical application.
A celebration of angel investment:
Change of scene to Nuremberg's Old Town Hall: At the festive gala evening there will not only be plenty of opportunity for networking, but also an exclusive dinner and the awarding of the "Golden Nose" to the "Business Angel of the Year 2016".
Best of Angel Investing:
The second day of the conference begins on Monday, December 12th at the Nuremberg Trade Fair Centre with the "Business Angel Gallery", where top angels will present their deals. Topics to be discussed include which technologies will be exciting for angel investors in the future and how an angel can make their startup really big. The programme also offers plenty of opportunity for professional exchange with lectures, panels and level-up sessions. At the same time, the Business Angels Fair brings together 150 exhibitors (including 100 startups) and creates the opportunity to learn about potential new deals and make contacts. The extended lunch break can also be spent at one of the "Hot Topic Round Tables" to discuss new ideas and build new networks. Ten selected startups will make the headlines when they pitch their business idea to the participants and a Business Angel jury in seven minutes in the "Future Showcase".
