How a quantum advantage arises
Quantum computers are currently conquering the world. They're available from Google, IBM, and Rigetti, and there are annealers from D-Wave and Fujitsu. Numerous startups are developing the latest approaches and technologies. The computer can be purchased standalone, rented via the cloud, or used as a coprocessor to complement high-performance computers. At the same time, there's talk of the quantum advantage, and the industry is waiting for it – the ability to solve tasks that are currently impossible, and the ability to achieve results faster and better.
After years of hype surrounding AI, quantum computing is now the next big thing. What is a quantum computer? What can it do? Where and when can it be used? DIGICON aims to explore this topic in a simple and understandable way. With up to 400 attendees on site and an additional live stream, we look forward to a lively format with renowned speakers and interested visitors. The 6th Munich Digital Innovation Award
The Munich Digital Innovation Award is presented annually to the most innovative company with a future-oriented concept. SMEs, startups, and large corporations can submit their ideas for the award.
The submissions will be evaluated by a jury, and the top eight ideas will advance to the final round. The finalists will be invited on October 4, 2021, to present their innovations in a three-minute video and submit it to us by October 25, 2021. All videos will be uploaded to the Digitale Welt magazine YouTube channel and linked to the DIGICON website. The top three winners will be announced and awarded at DIGICON on November 17, 2021. The videos for the top three winners will be shown live. The innovations will also be featured in the Digitale Welt magazine afterward.
The jury for the 6th Munich Digital Innovation Award is comprised of renowned personalities from industry and business. Participants will present their concepts live at DIGICON 2021 and answer questions from the judges immediately afterward.
