What challenges does cultural policy face? In an open laboratory setting, the changing conditions of art and culture are up for discussion.
Which prevailing principles of cultural policy must be overcome? How can cultural policy contribute to an open society? How can new cultural policy goals be implemented? The lab is organized by students of the "Institutional Aesthetics" research seminar led by Christopher Balme and Christian Steinau and supported by the "Teaching@LMU" program, which promotes the exchange between theory and practice. It is an interdisciplinary study day for all interested parties in Munich's urban society.
