Cultural Entrepreneurship Lab: New business ideas for culture

At the end of this winter semester, the
Cultural Entrepreneurship Labs The business plans are presented to experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and cultural professionals in a final presentation, which they are then evaluated by. The students receive valuable feedback on their presentations from six high-profile judges on-site, as well as concrete advice and suggestions regarding the ideas and strategies they have developed. For the first time this year, the best presentation will be awarded a prize.

 

Program:

2:00 p.m.: Welcome (Prof. Maurice Lausberg, Marco Janezic) and introduction of the jury

2:10 p.m.: Superhearo; With this app, you can learn music theory while playing and become a Superhearo in a duel with music enthusiasts from all over the world.
(15 minutes presentation/ 15 minutes discussion and questions)

2:45 p.m.: conn.act; Networking and job hunting made easy! The first career portal for Germany's cultural and creative industries.
(15 minutes presentation/ 15 minutes discussion and questions)

3:20 p.m.: KULTURknirpse; a kindergarten with a focus on culture, which offers space for artists to create a dialogue between children and artists.

3:55 p.m.: CultuRun; a running app that guides joggers through major cities like Munich, Hamburg, or Berlin using GPS, bringing cultural sights to life.

4:30 p.m.: B2watch; The revolution of the festival industry – B2watch brings the world's hottest top acts directly to your city and allows you to celebrate with thousands of fans simultaneously via livestream.

5:00 PM: 30-minute break/ Jury meeting

5:30 p.m.: Feedback from the judges (5 minutes per group) and award for the best presentation
