The Federal Government's Future Fund – Impulses for startups and scale-ups in Germany
Under the umbrella of the 10 billion Future Fund, the Federal Government is bundling tailor-made building blocks to promote future technologies with the declared aim of strengthening startup financing in Germany.
A number of components of the Future Fund are now on the market, and more are in the planning stages. In conjunction with existing instruments, they are intended to interlock during implementation, complement each other like a modular system, and grow together to form a sustainable funding architecture.
Exclusive and first-hand: Ministerial Director Dr. Matthias Koehler, Head of SME and Startup Financing at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK), provides an insight into the Future Fund's workshop and gives an overview of the BMWK's financing instruments and their development and expansion with the Future Fund's resources.
