BAND Academy 2016
From a basic seminar for business angels to syndication and crowd investing, exit strategies and convertible loans, to fintech, operational guarantees, and co-investment facilities for business angels: the BAND Academy 2016. Nine workshops from May 18 to September 15, 2016, featuring collaboration with distinguished experts in their respective fields, are interactive and practical. The events will take place in Munich, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Berlin, Hamburg, Heidelberg, Frankfurt, and Stuttgart.

Business Angels Network Germany (BAND) is committed to developing the business angels culture in Germany, organizing the exchange of experiences, and promoting collaborations. BAND is the spokesperson for the business angels networks vis-à-vis politicians and the public and represents the interests of business angels in the interest of young, innovative companies.
BAND was founded as a registered association in 1998. Since 2001, BAND has been the recognized umbrella organization of German business angels and their networks.
Mission statement
BAND represents the model of the "two-pronged" business angel, who invests both capital and expertise in young, innovative startups. Business angels are often located at the beginning of the financing chain, where the bottleneck is greatest. Furthermore, business angels are increasingly playing a significant role in follow-on financing rounds. For these reasons, they are of great economic importance.
