Develop and implement new services for the automotive industry. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Automotive Hackdays are a 5 day coding event where developers\, designers\, engineers and makers get together to rapidly prototype and iterate new automotive concepts.  \nWe provide you with real cars equipped with a programmable device that allows you to access and stream data to your applications. We will also provide experts and some sample code. On top of that we give you a great location\, lots of food & drinks and supporting workshops.\n \nYou bring the motivation and skills to hack\, build and code services and mobility concepts. \n  \n\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\n# Service Design \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCreate new Aftersales Services for end customers\, car dealers or garages (safety\, comfort …). Develop a better quality of service and a seamless experience (interaction\, intelligent car\, proactive service\, feedback\, notifications\, …) \n# Mobility Concepts \nCome up with innovative models of vehicle usage and ownership (shared usage\, ownership\, new mobility\, custom applications\, location-based services\,…) \n# real cars\, real data \nDevelop new concepts for customer interaction with car data (quantification\, user-centered interfaces\, gamification\, story-telling\, habits\, …) \n# Your Idea \nThis is the wildcard! Apply with your idea(s) in order to bring it to life. We help you to develop  prototypes of  your ideas (Anything goes. Surprise us!) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nWHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU\n\n\n\n#Tools And Ecosystem \nWe have the right tools and environment for you! You can access live car data via a programmable device and stream it to your own applications. We provide you with a debugger and some code. In case you need additional hardware you will have access to our brand new 1\,500 sqm high-tech prototyping workshop MakerSpace. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n # Pitch BMW \nYou will have the unique chance to develop your idea into a working concept alongside BMW’s R&D and business experts. At the final day -the demo day- you will have the chance to pitch to a high-profile jury consisting of BMW management as well as external judges. \n\n\n\n\n\n# Priceless Prizes \nThe winning teams will receive some terrific prizes to further support their startup projects\, such as AWS credits\, MakerSpace licenses or prototyping budget.
