Hello everyone, we'll be back at Mantro in March. This time, we'll have four speakers for you. Register now! As always, the event is free.
Speaker
Kim Wlach (Co-Founder Startupalm)
Hopping from meeting to meeting, connecting with colleagues via Skype from different time zones, keeping a grip on the fast-paced workday, and then the boss introduces agile project methods and demands more self-organization. Ever experienced that?
As the founder of Startup Alm, Kim and her team create space and time to support teams in times of new work structures, taking them away from their everyday lives and up to the alpine hut for Team Offsite. Her latest project: They want to implement and operate a mountain village for new workers.
Kim's Talk: “How to Prototype a Bergdorf?”
In her presentation, Kim talks about how to test a completely non-digital business idea as a prototype and about the power of small successes on the way to the goal or: "What huts in the Alps have to do with design thinking."
Peter Hall (Agile Practitioner)
Peter works as an agile developer and coach in software projects across various industries. He organizes the Design Sprint Munich Meetup group, which holds regular design sprints. The Meetup group is currently working on a program to promote regular interaction between seniors and interested volunteers.
Peter's Talk: “The Art of the Design Sprint”
We're all fascinated by the story of the inventor who builds a better mousetrap and becomes rich by the age of 30. However, the reality is different. Most startups fail. Either we take too little risk and don't even get started. Or we take too much risk, tying up too much time or resources before the ideas fail due to fundamental weaknesses. This is where the design sprint, linked to product and service design, can help!
Maren Uffenkamp and Christian Dähn (Agile Coaches at it agile)
Chris advises and coaches clients on the implementation of agile methods and supports them in transforming their structures. He is particularly interested in team development and building participatory organizations, as well as igniting "many small fires" to promote organization-wide change.
Maren's vision is that of a more humane society, and her mission as a catalyst, idealist, and coach is to contribute to this through more humanity in organizations. Her focus in client work includes personal development for the liberation of the individual, empowering teams for reflective self-organization, and (innovation) processes for socially acceptable products/services.
Maren's and Christian's Talk: "Experience agility live"
Following the agile principle of "Responding to Change over Following a Plan," we have a rough plan to conduct "an agile session" with you, which we will then consider in detail on the day of the presentation. In any case, be prepared for us to use a few minutes of the 12-minute Q&A for collective reflection to process what we've experienced. With that in mind, be excited for our session—we already are.
