MoodPoem is a limited-edition light sculpture that combines art, design, and innovative technology. The Munich-based startup presented itself publicly for the first time in March at Luminale 2016 in Frankfurt am Main – and acquired its first customers.
MoodPoem was developed to illuminate rooms with brilliant and changeable colors. The light sculpture can be controlled via smartphone or the integrated touchpad, creating unique color spaces and lighting scenarios with its innovative lighting principle. It is the first luminaire of this size to integrate all technological components into a display with a depth of 34 mm. Materials such as glass and aluminum are of high quality and round off the design.
MoodPoem brings emotions to light
On the one hand, MoodPoem provides the right light for specific needs. With its intuitive controls and the MoodPoem lighting principle, it creates light effects. On the other hand, the product is aimed at an art and design-oriented target group. Each MoodPoem represents a unique work of art, signed, numbered, and in a limited edition.
Exceptional design
The lamp was developed by a team of designers, artists and engineers led by Fabian Gatermann. The project was supported by the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship and the Bavarian state. The lamp is manufactured entirely in Germany.
