Innovations often arise from synergies. The potential for innovation increases the more diverse the partners are, and thus also the more diverse their technological backgrounds and perspectives. Collaboration between fast-moving startups and established companies with long-term goals therefore has a particularly innovative driving force that should be harnessed. Ideally, both sides benefit equally from such industry collaboration.
