The inaugural "MöglichMacher" university award recognizes exceptional achievements by teachers and academics who are committed to fostering entrepreneurial thinking among students and promoting active start-up activity at universities. The award is presented by the Bavarian State Ministry for Science and the Arts, the Association of Bavarian Business (vbw), and BayZiel - Bavarian Center for Innovative Teaching. The recipient was Prof. Dr. Klaus Sailer of the Munich University of Applied Sciences.

A five-member jury led by Hochschule Bayern eV, consisting of representatives from academia, business, politics, and the startup scene, selected individuals and projects for the 'MöglichMacher – Bavarian University Entrepreneurship Award' that have made a significant contribution to promoting entrepreneurship and the start-up culture at their universities. The jury evaluated the submitted projects based on various criteria, such as strategic fit, success in the startup process, project sustainability, and degree of practical transfer. The total prize money was €30,000. The deputy managing director of vbw Christof Prechtl emphasized:

"For the competitiveness and future viability of our business location, we need young entrepreneurs with innovative ideas and entrepreneurial spirit. Bavarian universities and their dedicated faculty play a key role in promoting and imparting the skills needed to start a business. The Bavarian University Entrepreneurship Award recognizes universities that place entrepreneurial thinking at the center of their teaching, thereby laying the foundation for Bavaria's continued economic success. That's why we are delighted to support the award as a sponsor."
