The Octoberinvestfest LATAM promotes innovation and international investment by offering investors a select group of high-quality investment opportunities from Latin America and Bavaria. The focus of this year's event is on technology innovations and deep tech. The event is primarily aimed at companies that use technologies such as AI, 3D printing, or blockchain in areas such as agtech, Industry 4.0, or energytech. Interested investors are also welcome.
Bavarian startups wishing to participate must be in the scale-up phase, meaning they have completed at least one Series A financing round. They are also expected to have a validated product and business model, as well as the necessary capacity to collaborate with large business partners. Participation in the event is possible both virtually and in person.
The Oktoberinvestfest offers participating companies the opportunity to gain deeper insight into Latin American markets and build a relevant innovation network. Startups and investors can also discuss financing opportunities in one-on-one meetings.
The Oktoberinvestfest is organized by the Bavarian Representative Office for South America and Invest in Bavaria. Other partners include German Entrepreneurship and German Accelerator, Fundación Chile, UnternehmerTUM, and the VC Alaya Capital.
