This year's Oktoberfest starts on September 16. To further expand the topic of cashless payment, the Fintech-Company Sumup this year exclusive payment partner of MyFest, the licensed partner of the Oktoberfest and a mobile payment specialist for showmen and restaurant owners. This gives Wiesn vendors the opportunity to further improve service for Wiesn guests with the mobile card terminal Sumup Solo in their establishments.
Payments can be made either directly at the table or at the cash register. And tipping isn't a problem either, as the Sumup Solo card terminal features a built-in tipping function. Various payment options are available: In addition to contactless and mobile payments via Apple Pay and Google Pay, the device also offers the option of inserting the card and initiating the payment process via the chip and PIN system. All major debit and credit cards are accepted.
