From November 6-8, 2023, Bio-Europe will take place at the Munich Exhibition Centre – a date that is also of interest to startups. Companies from the fields of cell and gene research, oncology, cardiovascular medicine, immunology, radiology and Digital Health Now you can apply for a place at Bio-Europe and get the chance to interact with leading investors and personalities from the biotech industry, pitch to a select jury and take part in a live feedback session. Applications can be submitted until 1 September.
Startups applying must meet the following requirements:
- The company was founded in the last three years or the innovation with which the company is applying was developed in the last three years.
- Therapeutic solutions, technologies and digital platforms are being developed.
- The company has so far raised total financing of 10 million euros or less.
- The company has fewer than 20 employees.
Each pitch is designed to last four minutes, and five slides may be used.
8,000 euros prize money
The first-place winning team will receive €8,000 in prize money sponsored by the pharmaceutical company Bayer, an additional ticket to Bio-Europe, and access to Bayer's mentoring programs. They will also be shortlisted for the incubator. Co.Lab from Bayer, which will open in Berlin in early summer 2024.
