The AI Beyond Borders Awards honor the three best German AI startups that are redefining the boundaries of artificial intelligence and, in the jury's opinion, have the greatest potential for international expansion. The AI Competence Center, an initiative of German Entrepreneurship supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, is presenting the award for the second time this year.
The three winning startups will receive cash prizes totaling €50,000 (1st place: €25,000, 2nd place: €15,000, 3rd place: €10,000). In addition, the award winners will receive a service package designed to facilitate their international scaling and gain visibility in the AI ecosystem and the global investor community. Through the German Accelerator The finalist startups benefit from up to six months of professional support in their expansion into the next international market of their choice, such as Asia or the USA. In addition, the finalists have the opportunity to present their startup to experts at Bits & Pretzels. The winners will also be announced at this event.
Seed-funded or Series A+ AI startups developing applied or foundational solutions for artificial intelligence are eligible to apply for the AI Beyond Borders Awards. Applicants must be a legal entity in Germany and have raised at least €500,000 since their founding.
