Innovation competition of the City of Munich: Apply now

For the sixth time, the City of Munich is launching the Smart Cities Innovation Competition. With this competition, the city administration aims to encourage innovative ideas and offer the opportunity to test and implement new concepts in an urban test field. The competition seeks proposals for solutions to specific urban challenges. The application deadline is May 15.

The City of Munich's innovation competition is aimed at students, creative minds, and entrepreneurs who want to develop innovative solutions to specific challenges and tasks facing Munich's city administration. The most convincing solutions will be awarded the Innovation Prize, further developed in collaboration with the city administration, and tested in practice. There is also prize money of €10,000 and an additional implementation budget of up to €15,000 up for grabs. UnternehmerTUM, the SCE, the LMU IEC, Founders@unibw and German Entrepreneurship offer support for the implementation phase.

  • “Text and the City” – Text mining in urban development
