Venturecon is open to startups in their early growth phase that have already generated revenue or are close to doing so. They should pursue a growth-oriented business model in the field of sustainable technological or digital innovations or financial services.
Intensive exchange between startups and investors
The pitches will take place directly before the Munich Startup Demo Night on May 24, 2023, for which teams that are successful will automatically receive a free exhibition space. Directly before the Demo Night, startups have the opportunity to engage directly with investors: Starting at 4 p.m., the participating investors will be guided through the Demo Night to 20 selected startups, each of which will have three minutes for a short pitch. After the short pitches, there will be an opportunity for intensive networking – exclusively for startups and investors.
Pitch training for participating startups
Baystartup prepares all presenting startups for their presentations and the subsequent investor meetings. In individual coaching sessions, Baystartup financing experts go through all investor documents with the teams, from business and financial plans to pitch decks. Pitch training is also part of the professional preparation. Presenting startups are also introduced to suitable investors in Baystartup's investor network. Application, coaching, and participation for presenting companies are completely free of charge.
