Stiebel Eltron, the pilot and test phase convinced with the solution of Craft GuideCompared to printed instructions, the company claims that the animated 3D video workflows make installing the devices more understandable, faster, error-free, and easier. To achieve this, Craftguide supplemented the workflows with the original CAD data of the systems and mapped them as 3D step-by-step instructions on the digital twin. Once the workflows are digitally captured, they can be adapted quickly and cost-effectively. Tradespeople and interested customers can access them via a QR code in the installation instructions.
Stiebel Eltron was founded in 1924 and, with annual sales of over one billion euros, is one of the leading companies in the renewable energy, heating and building technology market.

Personnel and time savings
Markus Oltmanns, Head of Technical Documentation and Product Information Management at Stiebel Eltron, adds:
"We estimate that tradespeople can save at least a third of their time and personnel costs when installing our heat pumps—which is a huge benefit given the current shortage of skilled workers."
