A meeting of the data community with the administration
On March 4, 2023, the City of Munich (LHM) invites you to the International Open Data Day. Events focusing on the use of open data will take place worldwide on this day.
The state capital of Munich is organizing this day together with “Code for Munich/OK Lab”. A day all about open data: lectures, workshops and time to get to know each other, network and exchange ideas.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 4, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Werk1. Participation is free of charge. Refreshments will be provided.
It kicks off with presentations on the Free State of Bavaria's new Open Data Portal, on the topic of "Tourism and Open Data," and the state capital's data offerings. There will also be workshops on cycling data, OpenBikeSensors, and aerial image analysis using artificial intelligence (bring your computers!).
Data published in the spirit of open data can be freely used, further processed, and distributed. The goal of the day is to raise awareness of open data and demonstrate the potential of open data.
The E- and Open Government team of the City of Munich regularly organized this day together with “Code for Munich” in the pre-Corona era.
The City of Munich provides open data sets on the Open Data Portal at https://opendata.muenchen.de ready.
