WakeUp! – Networking over breakfast
Digital Transformation & Sharing Economy Does this require Law 4.0?
What it's about:
With digitalization, speed is becoming a key success factor for innovation. The speed of innovation determines a company's competitiveness. Innovation no longer occurs solely in corporate technology or the development and innovation departments of established companies. Today, innovation often occurs in a networked manner and through the shared, temporary use of a wide variety of innovation resources.
But how do multiple partners involved in the innovation across company boundaries share the results of their joint, networked value creation? How can they protect the innovation, individually or jointly, from imitation?
How can companies, large, established ones as well as young, fast-moving ones, navigate the current legal institutions and regulations in the networked innovation landscape? Or do new legal rules need to be implemented to reflect this changing reality? Are corresponding legislative proposals already underway?
