When developing new products, many managers focus on perfecting plans that optimize sales and costs as much as possible. However, the fact is that actual market results differ radically from the plans. Around 80% of new products initially fail because the product finds far too few customers. From this perspective, optimizing costs and revenues upfront is secondary to the cost of developing the wrong product. This training provides participants with the knowledge and skills needed to “Lean Startup”– Methods offer a systematic approach that uses rapid and cost-effective testing procedures, from idea validation with customers to product conception and the identification of sales channels. In case studies, you'll learn which initial steps laid the foundations for today's globally successful companies like Airbnb, Zappos, and Dropbox.
