Holidu expands to Greece

Munich-based holiday home broker Holidu and its subsidiary Bookiply are launching in Greece, continuing the company's growth path.

With its subsidiary Bookiply, Holidu offers its own marketing and management software as well as comprehensive services for local property owners. From Athens, the company The Ionian Islands, including Corfu, Lefkas, Kefalonia, and Zakynthos, will be included in the future. Additional regions are to be added over the course of the year. Holidu's holiday home booking portal, in turn, makes the offers available to holidaymakers, holidu.gr from now on also in Greek.

"With our expansion into Greece, we are responding to increased demand on both sides – from holiday home owners and holidaymakers alike. Greece is one of the top holiday destinations in 2022. However, the offering is still poorly digitized and highly fragmented, and new holiday home owners who are unfamiliar with the market are likely to face some challenges. This is where we come in by providing holiday home owners with targeted on-site support through our experienced regional experts and showing them how to best market their properties."

commented Johannes Siebers, CEO and co-founder of Holidu.

A common problem, for example, is that booked vacation homes have to be canceled by the homeowners. The main reason for this is the lack of synchronization of the calendars of the various online booking sites. With its software and service solution Bookiply, Holidu aims to change this and make searching for and booking vacation properties easier.

Holidu continues to grow

In addition to Greece, Holidu and Boookiply have already opened seven new branches in France, Italy, Portugal and Spain this year. the company give its growth an additional boost.
