In 2018, Egym acquired the Lower Saxony-based company Qualitrain, thus taking its first step into corporate fitness. This network has since grown to 3,600 corporate customers. Their employees have access to a wide range of 5,500 sports and health facilities across the country. Through the acquisition of Gymlib This network is now being expanded to include 600 corporate customers and 4,300 fitness facilities in France and Belgium.
The Egym managing director Philipp Roesch-Schlanderer explains with regard to Gymlib:

Egym and Gymlib aim to become market leaders in Europe

The aim of the new partners is now to expand into other countries and quickly achieve market leadership in Europe.
Just last year, Egym secured 35 million euros (41 million dollars) in its Series E round. At this point The Munich-based company stated that it was able to maintain its revenues despite the coronavirus-related closures of fitness studios. Furthermore, many operators of fitness and health facilities are investing heavily in digitalization measures, and new customer business is also increasing significantly.
