Now in its 24th year, the Science4Life competition supports founders and startups in developing their ideas, business models, and business plans to later convince potential customers, investors, or cooperation partners. The nationwide competition is divided into three phases: the idea phase, the concept phase, and the business plan phase. Science4Life aims to map the various stages of starting a business, beginning with the development of a product, a service, or a digital business idea, through the development of a business model, and finally, the founding of the company.
Founding teams from the life sciences, chemistry, and energy sectors can apply for the Science4Life competition. All founders are offered the opportunity to participate in personal training and coaching sessions, as well as online seminars on key topics related to company founding. The best founding teams from the life sciences and chemistry sectors will be awarded the 'Science4Life Venture Cup'. Energy startups also have the opportunity to win the 'Science4Life Energy Cup', the industry-specific award for startup projects in the energy sector.
