EU-XCEL – Secure your place in Europe’s virtual accelerator!

Young entrepreneurs can apply for the European virtual acceleration program EU-XCEL until February 27. They can receive a one-week training, a four-month accelerator, and the chance to pitch to investors at the Challenge Final in Munich.

The programme, funded by the EU Commission, is aimed at young European entrepreneurs between 21 and 35 years of age from the fields of Internet of Things, Health Informatics, Big Data, ICT4Development, Predictive Analytics as well as E- and M-Commerce.

Training, a virtual accelerator and pitches

Selected participants will be invited to a one-week training and mentoring invited to the so-called "Startup-up Scrum." The events will take place between May and June 2016 in Germany, Ireland, Denmark, Greece, Poland, and Spain.

The four-month EU-XCEL Virtual Accelerator enables participants to engage in intensive exchange via an online portal, receive training content and receive mentoring virtually – on both technical and business issues.

A high-class jury will then select the best teams. Challenge Final On 24 and 25 October 2016, they will have the opportunity to present their ideas to investors and business angels in Munich to pitch.
