Dear readers,
A difficult year is coming to an end for all of us. Despite all the changes and adversities, we can report that 2020 was a successful year for Munich Startup. This is primarily due to the fact that we were able to add important features to our website this year.
On the one hand, we deliver with our Ecosystem Data & Insights Since May, facts and figures on the Munich startup scene. How many startups are there in Munich? How much funding has a startup already received? Who has had a successful exit? Answers to these and many other questions can be found here.
On the other hand, we offer the Pinboard a free job board and a comprehensive marketplace for the Munich startup scene. If you're looking for a new job or a new job in the new year, take a look at our pinboard.
We have also ventured into a new editorial project and Munich Startup Podcast was launched. Every two weeks, our editors Helen and Max delve into a specific topic, introduce Munich startups in more detail, and report on (online) events. It's worth listening to!
Our YouTube channel This year, our editors Regina and Simon also regularly provided us with new videos. In the video series #CoronaUpdate For example, we wanted to hear directly from Munich founders working from home about what the Corona period is doing to their companies.
A thoroughly successful year, but also a challenging one for all of us on so many levels – with that in mind, I wish you all peace and quiet this Christmas and the New Year. And I wish all of us a better year in 2021.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Yours, Gabriele Böhmer
