Online: We co-create the new world after Covid-19

The topic
We see COVID-19 as an opportunity and a necessity for innovation and would like to actively address the challenges currently emerging in a virtual workshop.

The program
Selected experts from academia, business, politics, and civil society will explain the challenges the pandemic has created in their fields. These challenges will then be discussed with the experts and participants. Each participant will have the opportunity to contribute their own challenges to the following topics before the workshop begins.

The topics
1. Digitalization and online services in public administration: What works and what doesn't?
2. Opinion formation and participation: What can we do to counter conspiracy theories and Covid-19 deniers, and how can we increase the involvement of children and young people?
3. Appreciation for social professions – What will the current increase in attention bring in the long term?
4. Tourism, trade fairs, and conferences aren't going online?! How can the tourism and event industries survive the pandemic?
5. Virus protection and climate protection? What works in the coronavirus era is far from being possible in climate protection – or is it? Can the carbon-neutral transformation of the economy now receive a new boost?

Who is the workshop interesting for?
Anyone interested in the topics mentioned should not miss this opportunity. If you are also interested in becoming part of a co-creation group to develop solutions to the identified challenges, we welcome your participation.
The innovation process begins with the impulse workshop on May 28, 2020. Following this, the co-creation groups are invited to develop concrete solutions for the chosen challenge.
Whether you want to develop innovations for your established company, you as a startup recognize a new window of opportunity, you are looking for inspiration for teaching and research, you want to break new ground in politics and administration, or you want to contribute your experience as a resident of the Munich metropolitan region, you are all very welcome.
