The online portal Linkedin has published a list of startups where network users would like to work: Among the top 25 on Linkedin are Lilium, Personio, Inveox and Proglove also four Munich startups.
For the second time, the platform has published its Top 25 for Germany. As in the previous year, Berlin-based fintech N26 took first place, followed by the two mobility startups Lilium and Tier Mobility. The Munich-based air taxi startup Lilium performed best among the Munich-based companies, closely followed by the software startup Personio, which took 5th place. Health startup Inveox took 22nd place, and wearable company Proglove took 24th place. Both Personio, as well as Inveox and Proglovethat they were recently able to complete large financing rounds.
The ranking is based on the behavior of more than 645 million LinkedIn members and takes four factors into account: employment growth, interaction, interest in job openings, and the attraction to top candidates.
The prerequisite for participation is that the companies are independent and privately owned, have at least 50 employees, have existed for a maximum of seven years
Despite many newcomers, one thing remains unchanged in the ranking this year: the low number of female founders. With the exception of the pathology startup Inveox None of the startups listed were (co-)founded by a woman.

Of the Munich-based companies, only Personio and Proglove were included in the previous Top 25 ranking. Companies such as Celonis and Flixmobility have been on the market for over seven years and were therefore excluded from the startup ranking. The mobility sector is particularly well represented. However, three fintech startups are also listed in the ranking.
"Our list shows that the country's top talents are interested in a wide variety of industries. From fintech companies that offer mobile banking to mobility companies that develop flying taxis, these startups have the potential to transform our economy and our lives,"
commented Sara Weber, Editor-in-Chief Germany and the Netherlands at Linkedin.
