Burda acquires Netdoktor.de from Holtzbrinck Digital

Recently, Hubert Burda Media acquired the 1998-founded Online health portal Netdoktor.de from the Holtzbrinck Publishing Group The media group is integrating the GmbH as a wholly-owned subsidiary into the Burdalife division.

On the Munich-based online portal Netdoktor.de, patients can find information on diseases, symptoms, treatment methods, and medications. All information provided is provided by physicians, biologists, and medical journalists. The portal also offers a symptom checker that helps patients determine their most likely diagnosis.

With the integration of Germany's largest online health portal, Burdalife aims to strengthen its leading position in the healthcare journalism industry.
