Until now, artificial ventilation for patients with acute respiratory failure has been manually adjusted on the ventilator based on often very nonspecific parameters such as body weight. This demonstrably contributes to the high mortality rate of almost 40 percent in this type of emergency.
We want to change that. Our software uses computed tomography (CT) scans and artificial intelligence to create a virtual, patient-specific lung model. This enables automated, personalized, and precise prediction of optimal ventilation.
The simulation methods of Ebenbuild can also be used effectively in other areas: For example, personalized predictions for the treatment of severe respiratory diseases can be made and pharmaceutical and medical products can be optimized.
