The Medtech Radar Live 2019 conference brings medtech startups together with representatives from the medical technology industry and potential investors. A pitch competition gives startups the opportunity to present themselves. Applications are open until April 17.
The pitch competition is backed by an illustrious group of organizations from the healthcare and venture capital sectors: the German Medical Technology Association, venture capital firm Earlybird, health insurance provider Barmer, High-Tech Gründerfonds, NRW Bank, and medical technology magazine Medtech Zwo. Around 150 participants are expected at the pitch event on June 5 in Berlin.
We are looking for medtech startups with innovative business ideas that aim to transform the healthcare industry and improve patient care. The focus is on smart ideas focusing on digital health, services, rehabilitation, care, or big data in the medical field.
Opportunity for medtech startups
A jury comprised of industry experts, health insurance providers, and financial and marketing experts will evaluate and assess the submitted business plans. The ten best business ideas will present themselves in a startup pitch to the expert audience and the jury. The selected founding teams will also have the opportunity to present their company at a free booth in the Startup Lounge at the accompanying exhibition. This will provide a variety of networking opportunities. Individual startups will also be featured in a partner publication.
Interested startups should send their applications by April 17 to bewerbung@medtechradar.live.
