The student award IKOM Award for the Future of Employers recognizes ethical and responsible employers. Applications are open until March 1.
The student group IKOM, which Technische Universität München (TUM) and the Association of Bavarian Business (VBW) are looking for companies that are responsible employers and operate sustainably. They have announced the second IKOM Award for Future Employers. According to the initiators, the award is Germany's first employer award presented by students.
Jury selects future employer
The award allows companies to present themselves to students as ethical and sustainable employers. IKOM, a non-profit initiative for student-business exchange at TUM, launched the Germany-wide prize last year. It is now presenting the award for the second time together with TUM and VBW. The patron is Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs Hubert Aiwanger.
The criteria are: value orientation and sustainability, commitment to Germany as a business location, entrepreneurial continuity, and good entry and development opportunities for young professionals. A jury composed of students, academics, businesspeople, and the media will select the proposals. Prizes will be awarded in several categories at a ceremony.
