The Bavarian Day of Telemedicine is the largest telemedicine conference in Bavaria, which is constantly developing into a platform for all digital areas and relevant players in the healthcare system, both nationwide and internationally.
On March 21, 2019, the Bavarian Telemedicine Alliance, together with the Bavarian State Ministry of Health and Care, will host the 7th Bavarian Telemedicine Day (7.BTT) under the motto "Digital Health and Care – the Future is Now!" State Minister Melanie Huml will serve as patron of the conference.
Digitalization in healthcare is advancing inexorably. Many products and applications from highly innovative fields such as robotics, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) are no longer a distant dream, but already a reality. At the 7th BTT, trade visitors and the interested public have the opportunity to learn about user-oriented technologies, learn more about the latest developments and areas of application, and discuss cutting-edge healthcare policy issues with experts and decision-makers. The congress also aims to promote the development of partnerships and collaborations, ensuring sufficient time for personal discussions alongside the specialist forums and workshops.
