Innovation Café: UI / UX Design @Google

UI / UX designers solve problems, not create art

Why does a UI/UX designer need to be able to empathize with the user groups and not be guided by emotions and taste? Because digital products are touchpoints and communication channels for a brand.

Digital products must be scalable and created efficiently. This is only possible if you don't view (UI/UX) design as art.

Art creates originals – design creates series.

Our speaker of the evening, Malthe Luda, has been in the UI/UX business since 2004. For over seven years, he worked as a freelancer for clients such as Audi, adidas, Disney, Microsoft, Tesla, Red Bull, and Vodafone, in renowned agencies such as SinnerSchrader, Strichpunkt, Red Bull Creative, Red Bull Mediahouse, Wunderman, and Serviceplan.

Malthe is an editor at well-known online portals such as uxdesign.cc, t3n.de, and uxplanet.org. He is also a mentor for user interface and user experience design at the Google Startup Program "Google Launchpad."

To the Innovation Café

The Innovation Café is the monthly networking event of the SCE Start-up Support program and takes place on the first Tuesday of every month. It offers the opportunity to chat with other participants in a friendly atmosphere over a glass of beer, juice, or water – so interesting content and a pleasant atmosphere are guaranteed.

At the beginning of the Innovation Café, there is the opportunity to pitch your startup.

In addition to the information on the above-mentioned topic, take the opportunity to get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere

  • to inform about the activities at Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE),
  • get to know the start-up support team or refresh contacts,
  • to hold talks with teams from the start-up league,
  • To ask questions, exchange creative ideas, make interesting contacts,
  • or just to get a taste of entrepreneurship.

Here you can find more information about the event.
