Climate-KIC Venture Competition: agrilution wins national selection round

The UnternehmerTUM Team agrilution took first place in the national selection round for the Climate-KIC Venture Competition 2015 on September 4 in Berlin, winning €20,000. The European final will take place as part of the Innovation Festival in Birmingham at the end of October. An additional €40,000 in prize money is up for grabs.

“Vertical Farming” against world hunger

agrilution is dedicated to "vertical farming" and aims to offer innovative solutions to combat world hunger. The vertical farming approach aims to grow food more effectively, efficiently, and, above all, sustainably – in stacked greenhouses. These closed-loop systems in a vertical arrangement are very space-saving and allow food to be grown theoretically anywhere on earth.
