The Munich-based software company User lane has raised €4 million in its Series A financing round. The fresh capital will be used to further develop the technology and expand the company.
The successfully completed Series A financing round was led by Capnamic Ventures. Existing investors, High-Tech Gründerfonds, main incubator, and FTR Ventures also participated. The investors see great potential in the Munich-based startup's technology. Olaf Jacobi, Managing Partner at Capnamic Ventures, says, for example:
"We believe the team, technology, and customer value we see at Userlane provide a great opportunity to build a large and successful company. Userlane addresses a huge market with an unmet need. We look forward to working with the Userlane team."
The Munich-based startup provides companies with a software navigation system that allows users to immediately understand and operate any software without any training time. Companies such as Allianz, Deutsche Telekom, and LBS, as well as public institutions such as the City of Munich, are already using this technology for employee training.
Closing the knowledge gap between humans and machines
Software manufacturers such as Celonis or Shore have integrated Userlane into their own solutions to train their users. The young company addresses a growing market with a volume of more than $10 billion worldwide.
"The focus of digitalization is on people. Technology should not stand in our way, but pave the way for us. Our goal is to completely close the knowledge gap between humans and machines, so that everyone – without any training – can use any software immediately,"
explained Hartmut Hahn, CEO and co-founder of Userlane, the approach of the young company.
