Ring clear, the innovation competition “Retail in Transition” is entering its fourth round and is looking for startups that are revolutionizing retail. You can apply until 13 April 2018.
Since 2015, the Günther Rid Foundation and UnternehmerTUM Together, they develop innovative business ideas to strengthen brick-and-mortar retail. This is the third-largest economic sector in Germany. In November 2017, there were 300,000 companies with approximately three million employees.
The "Retail in Transition" innovation competition is looking for ideas and concepts that enhance the in-store shopping experience, leverage digital technologies for the shopping process, promote collaborations between retailers, or cleverly combine online and offline shopping—for new shopping experiences, vibrant city centers, and economic innovations. Prize money and coaching for the eight best
The eight best startup and innovation teams (four retailers, four tech startups) will receive support in further developing their concepts in a five-month intensive program. The program addresses the individual needs of retailers and startups. The two best concepts will each receive prize money of €10,000!
