The competition for the 2018 Bavarian Innovation Award is back! Established companies and startups can now apply and compete for the 2018 Bavarian Innovation Award. The application deadline is April 30, 2018.
Innovations are the key to growth and competitiveness. And developing new products and services for tomorrow's markets requires entrepreneurial courage and a willingness to take risks. The Bavarian Innovation Award therefore aims to honor Bavarian companies that have already successfully mastered this challenge.
The Bavarian Innovation Award is a joint initiative of the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology, the Association of Bavarian Chambers of Industry and Commerce and the Association of Bavarian Chambers of Crafts.

Dr. Eberhard Sasse, President of the Bavarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, is certain:

The 2018 Bavarian Innovation Award recognizes product and process innovations as well as innovative technology-oriented services that were introduced to the German market no more than four years ago or whose market success is foreseeable. The award is presented as an honorary prize and carries no financial reward. A total of seven prizes will be awarded, including a special prize for startups that are no older than five years.

All companies, regardless of industry or size, with their headquarters or a branch in the Free State of Bavaria are eligible to participate. Participation in the competition is free of charge. The awards ceremony will take place on November 26, 2018, in Munich.
