48forward – The Conference

After two successful years, the third edition of the innovation and future conference 48forward will take place in Munich on February 22, 2018.
The one-day conference will feature around 50 top-class speakers from around the world and 500 participants in the audience to discuss how various technological, cultural and social developments will change different areas of life and the economy.

Some of the questions we will address at the conference will be:
• How will artificial intelligence change our lives and our work?
• What opportunities does e-government offer?
• Will we still have a permanent job in ten years?
• Will we still own our own car in the future and who will drive it?
• Will artificial intelligence replace our doctors in diagnosis?
• How will retail change? Where and how will we shop?

Among the speakers already confirmed are Kaspar Korjus, who is responsible for the extremely exciting e-Residency program in Estonia, and Martin Wezowski, Chief Designer at SAP.
We are also looking forward to welcoming Thimo Schmitt-Lord, Executive Director of the Bayer Foundations, who will discuss social entrepreneurship with us.

We are also looking forward to welcoming Louise Troen, Global Brand Director at Bumble, arguably the most exciting dating and business networking app currently available.

Abbas Kazmi raised $100 million to found Collegiate Capital, making him Europe's youngest founder of a VC fund of this size, and will also be on stage at 48forward.
