These startups are participating in the Retailtech Hub

Months ago started MediamarktSaturn, together with Plug and Play, is launching the Retailtech Hub. The program provides startups with privileged access to the company's more than 1,000 stores across Europe. The first ten startups have now moved into the Neue Balan.

The Retailtech Hub succeeds the former MS Spacelab program. Under a new name and with the Californian accelerator Plug and Play as a partner, the retail group is launching the funding program. MediamarktSaturn CDO said at the opening: Martin Wild:

“This is the opportunity for startups to verify their ideas.”

Four Munich startups in Retailtech Hub

Ten young companies can now seize this opportunity. They had to compete against more than 100 other applicants. Among the first participants are four Munich-based startups: Combyne develops a social app where users can share their fashion outfits. parcelLab  wants to improve customer communication during online shopping. Rapitag offers a smart security label that allows customers to pay for the goods labeled with it directly on their mobile phone. Weview allows users to share video reviews. Successful reviewers can earn money from them.

Additionally, MishiPay from London, Neuro Flash from Hamburg, OKIKO from Mönchengladbach, store2be and Traxas Media from Berlin as well as Streetspotr from Nuremberg are supported by Retailtech Hub.
