At the 2nd Round Table Japan on 24.07.2017 at BioM Bavarian life science companies will report on their experiences in Japan and offer tips to facilitate business development in this attractive destination. Participants will also learn about current business strategies of Japanese companies active in personalized and regenerative medicine.
Contents
Representatives of various business models in the life sciences sector will give short presentations on the structure and progress of their activities in Japan. They will address the expected timeline for initiating business, how to address cultural challenges, and which sector-specific aspects should be considered in the target country. The enormous market potential and advantages of Japanese collaborations and market entry will also be highlighted.
The Japan Round Table is taking place as part of the InnoMuNiCH project, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The cluster management organization BioM In this project, companies and research groups are offered support in establishing cooperation and business relationships in Japan. Interested parties from the Munich Excellence Cluster as well as other Bavarian and national life science regions are cordially invited to obtain expert advice on the topic, contribute their own suggestions for future internationalization services, and engage in mutual exchange.
Target group
Managing directors, business development managers, and cooperation managers from life science and biotechnology companies in the field of personalized medicine, as well as startups and research groups interested in collaborative projects with Japanese partners from industry and research. Interested parties who have no previous experience in the Japanese life science market or whose business activities in Japan have so far been unsuccessful are also welcome.
