Prof. Dr. Isabell M. Welpe (TU Munich), Thomas Sattelberger (“MINT Zukunft schaffen”), Prof. Dr. Michael Dowling (MÜNCHNER KREIS) and Prof. Dr. Dr. hc Manfred Broy (Zentrum Digitalisierung.Bayern) are pleased to announce the planned conference “Digital Transformation – Is there a unique path for Germany?”
Renowned scientists, political decision-makers, and experienced experts from business, trade unions, and associations were invited to take a look into the future through lectures and panel discussions. The questions addressed on this day include: What does digital transformation mean for the German economy and society? What are our concepts and our perspectives? Where do we differ from other countries? Industry 4.0 versus smart services and incremental versus disruptive innovation – what are Germany's strengths and weaknesses? What will the social partnership of the future look like in a borderless digital working world? Is the digital revolution destroying social cohesion?
