The energy transition requires visionary minds! This is precisely what the Energy Efficiency Award is currently seeking. The competition, organized by the German Energy Agency (dena), recognizes projects that have a significant impact on the energy transition – both nationally and internationally. The competition is divided into four categories: Energy Transition 2.0, Energy Efficiency 4.0, and Energy Management and Services. The focus is on user-driven energy efficiency. All private or public companies that have optimized existing facilities and/or processes for energy efficiency and/or have implemented energy-efficient technologies through new construction or expansion are eligible to apply.
The audience decides
New this year: The Concept Award, in which the audience ultimately has a say. First, a jury of experts evaluates all submitted concepts—which should convincingly demonstrate how energy efficiency can be increased and be marketable—and selects three finalists. These three selected companies will have the opportunity to pitch their concepts live at the dena Congress, seeking the favor of the attending expert audience. Voting will then determine which concept will receive the Audience Award.
