After a hiatus of more than a year, the current, 25th round of applications has now been announced.

The program provides grantees with half-time employment at a university or university of applied sciences for a period of up to 18 months. Furthermore, they can use university resources (e.g., rooms, laboratories) if needed. Funding for material resources and resources for business coaching is also available.

How does the application process work?

The application deadline is July 1, 2015. The documents (including an application form, CV, ten-page business plan, and letter of support from the university) must be received by email and mailed by then. The date for the personal presentation before the FLÜGGE committee is July 23, 2015. Funding is available starting October 1, 2015.

Anyone who would like to check whether their idea has a chance of being funded and whether all the requirements are met, both in terms of content and form, should submit a sketch as a preliminary inquiry before submitting their application.
