Telefónica Deutschland and Wayra invite innovative early-stage startups to apply for the Digital Innovation Day Award 2016. The award is aimed at companies from the IoT and M2M sectors whose ideas and products can contribute to the intelligent networking of technical systems. The three best startups will have the opportunity to pitch to invited guests at Telefónica Deutschland's Digital Innovation Day on September 28, 2016.
The pitches of the three best teams and the subsequent award ceremony will take place on September 28, 2016, as part of the Digital Innovation Day at Ziegelei101 in Ismaning near Munich. The winner of the Digital Innovation Day Award 2016 will be chosen by the audience via live voting and will receive 5,000 euros, office space in the Telefónica accelerator Wayra in Munich for six months, two Huawei P9 smartphones, and a two-page profile including an interview in the magazine funkschau and on funkschau.de.

All finalists will also receive an exhibitor spot at the Telefónica Deutschland booth, participation in the subsequent networking event at Oktoberfest, inclusion in Telefónica's communications team, and much more. Under the motto "Better Connected," Telefónica Deutschland's Digital Innovation Day will enter its third round on September 28, 2016. The event is primarily aimed at innovation-driven executives who want to digitize their business processes and solutions and become more connected.
