Founder Co-founder and CEO Alex Haag brings decades of experience in disruptive innovation and autonomous systems, making him ideally positioned to successfully lead Futurail. Prior to founding Futurail, he spent eight years in the autonomous driving space, including leading the development of the ID Buzz Autonomous Driving Program at Argo AI, a joint venture between Ford and Volkswagen. He also served as CTO at Autonomous Intelligent Driving (AID GmbH), a subsidiary of Audi/VW, and played a pivotal role in Tesla's Autopilot team, setting the standard for AI-driven autonomy. A graduate of École Polytechnique and MIT, Alex combines technical expertise with visionary leadership.

Co-founder and CTO Patrick Dendorfer is an expert in artificial intelligence and computer vision. He holds a PhD from the Technical University of Munich and has a strong academic background in physics from LMU, the University of Oxford, and the Universidade de Lisboa. Before co-founding Futurail, he worked as a research engineer at Argo AI, where he applied advanced AI solutions to real-world challenges. His previous consulting roles at Bain & Company and KPMG provided him with valuable business insights to connect technological innovation with financial success.

Co-founder and CCO Maximilian Schöffer has extensive experience in business development for mobility startups. Prior to joining Futurail, he was Director of Strategy and Business Development at Edge Case Research, where he led multi-million dollar projects providing safety case frameworks for autonomous technologies in the automotive and rail sectors. He is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at IESE Business School and holds a Master's degree in Global Entrepreneurial Management from the University of San Francisco. Maximilian brings a global perspective and is driving the growth and success of Futurail.
