LAY7 cloud
Entry last updated on January 29, 2025

Agencies and developers need a reliable, high-performance, and easy-to-use cloud – without having to deal with complex infrastructure. The LAY7 Cloud was specifically developed for web applications and combines modern container technology with an intuitive platform that makes operation as easy as traditional web hosting, yet offers all the benefits of the cloud, especially performance and scalability.

Unlike general cloud platforms, the LAY7 Cloud is designed exclusively for web applications. Connections are made only via HTTPS (the eponymous Layer 7) – connections at the IP level are not provided.
Our infrastructure is largely based on Kubernetes, which runs on bare metal.

Founder As a freelance web developer, I've repeatedly seen how challenging cloud setups can be and the hurdles that often arise in various teams. Nevertheless, the cloud offers unbeatable advantages that are crucial in today's world. This inspired me to build an abstraction for the cloud.
