The annual Strascheg Awards ceremony—the renowned ideas competition organized by Munich University of Applied Sciences and the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE)—will take place on December 3, 2024. Visitors can look forward to exciting startup pitches and networking opportunities during the awards ceremony.
With prize money totaling €30,000, the Strascheg Award is one of Germany's largest idea competitions for entrepreneurial ideas and innovative strength. Annually, the best business ideas from faculty, staff, students, and alumni of Munich University of Applied Sciences are recognized in three categories: Ideas from a Course (Category 1), Ideas from Student Life (Category 2), and Ideas from Research and Practice (Category 3). The award promotes creative and forward-looking projects driven by entrepreneurial motivation.
Each category offers a total of €10,000 in prize money. The first-place teams will receive €5,000 each, the second-place teams €3,000, and the third-place teams €2,000. All participants will also receive qualified feedback on their ideas and the opportunity to receive support in the SCE Incubation Program. There, they can expect intensive coaching, prototyping budgets, and access to exclusive workshops—a real added value for anyone who wants to pursue and develop their ideas.
