Every year, SXSW brings together tech pioneers and innovators, startups and companies, creatives and artists from all over the world. The upcoming edition will take place from March 7 to 15 in Austin, Texas, and its conference section will focus on topics such as artificial intelligence, health, climate and sustainability, and energy. Above all, the question of what kind of world awaits us in 2050 looms large.
Munich at SXSW 2025
The state capital Munich will once again be hosting a delegation in Austin, which will also include Munich startups. Applicants with innovative technologies and solutions for topics highlighted at the SXSW Conference. Startups from the cultural and creative industries are also invited to apply. At least two of the ten available packages are reserved for them. The packages include:
- an Interactive Badge for participation in SXSW 2025 (1 ticket per startup),
- a travel allowance of up to 1,000 euros,
- the integration into the program of the Munich delegation.
Startups from Munich that are based on munich-startup.de/startups are listed – or quickly here – and are already generating initial revenue with their product or service. Internationalization or the acquisition of international investors should also be on the agenda. The application deadline is November 10, 2024.
Anyone who is still undecided or has questions is also welcome to Kick-off event on November 4 at the Munich Urban Colab. There, they'll get a first look at the activities planned for SXSW. Startups can also learn what to expect from the startup packages. There will also be plenty of time to get to know each other.
